01Wie wij zijn
Quinkslag is boekhoudsoftware voor Nederlandse boekhouders en zelfstandigen. Voor de verwerking van persoonsgegevens die via deze website en de applicatie plaatsvindt, is Quinkslag de verwerkingsverantwoordelijke.
U bereikt ons voor alle privacyvragen via info@quinkslag.cloud. Zodra Quinkslag formeel is ingeschreven, vullen wij hier de volledige bedrijfsgegevens aan.
02Welke gegevens wij verwerken
Afhankelijk van hoe u Quinkslag gebruikt, verwerken wij:
- Account- en contactgegevens — naam, e-mailadres en inloggegevens die u opgeeft bij het aanmaken van een administratie.
- Boekhoudgegevens — de administratie die u zelf invoert of importeert: boekingen, facturen, relaties (crediteuren en debiteuren) en grootboekmutaties. Deze kunnen persoonsgegevens van uw eigen klanten en leveranciers bevatten.
- Bankgegevens — banktransacties die via een PSD2-koppeling worden ingelezen, uitsluitend als u die koppeling zelf activeert (zie punt 04).
- Technische gegevens — IP-adres, browsertype en loggegevens die nodig zijn voor beveiliging, foutopsporing en het correct functioneren van de dienst.
- Voorkeuren — uw thema- en taalkeuze, lokaal in uw browser opgeslagen (zie punt 10).
Voor de boekhoudgegevens die u van uw eigen klanten verwerkt, treedt Quinkslag op als verwerker; u blijft daarvoor verwerkingsverantwoordelijke. Wij sluiten hiervoor een verwerkersovereenkomst.
03Doeleinden en grondslagen
Wij verwerken uw gegevens alleen voor duidelijke doelen, telkens op een grondslag uit de AVG:
- Het leveren van de dienst — om uw administratie te kunnen voeren en de applicatie te laten werken (uitvoering van de overeenkomst).
- Wettelijke verplichtingen — bijvoorbeeld de fiscale bewaarplicht (wettelijke plicht).
- Beveiliging en verbetering — om misbruik te voorkomen en de software betrouwbaar te houden (gerechtvaardigd belang).
- Optionele functies — zoals een bankkoppeling of, in de toekomst, analytische cookies (uw toestemming).
04Bankgegevens (PSD2)
Een bankkoppeling is optioneel. U activeert deze zelf en geeft daarbij expliciet toestemming aan uw bank. De koppeling is uitsluitend bedoeld om transacties in te lezen ten behoeve van uw boekhouding; wij initiëren geen betalingen. U kunt de koppeling op elk moment intrekken, waarna wij geen nieuwe transacties meer ophalen.
05Aangiften en de Belastingdienst
Wanneer u vanuit Quinkslag een aangifte indient (bijvoorbeeld BTW of ICP via Digipoort), verwerken wij de daarvoor benodigde gegevens om de aangifte namens u te versturen. U bepaalt zelf wanneer en wat u indient; de bevestiging bewaren wij in uw archief.
06Bewaartermijnen
Wij bewaren gegevens niet langer dan nodig. Voor uw administratie geldt de wettelijke fiscale bewaarplicht van zeven jaar. Account- en contactgegevens bewaren wij zolang u een actieve administratie heeft en verwijderen wij binnen een redelijke termijn na beëindiging, behoudens gegevens die wij wettelijk langer moeten bewaren. Bij beëindiging kunt u uw gegevens exporteren.
07Delen met derden
Wij verkopen uw gegevens niet en wij trainen geen modellen op uw boekingen. Wij delen gegevens alleen met zorgvuldig geselecteerde subverwerkers die nodig zijn om de dienst te leveren, zoals onze hostingpartij en de aanbieder van de bankkoppeling. Met elk van hen sluiten wij een verwerkersovereenkomst.
Uw gegevens worden in beginsel binnen de Europese Economische Ruimte verwerkt. Mocht doorgifte daarbuiten ooit nodig zijn, dan gebeurt dat alleen met passende waarborgen conform de AVG.
08Beveiliging
Uw gegevens staan op servers in Amsterdam, in een ISO 27001-gecertificeerd datacenter, met dagelijkse off-site back-up. Wij passen versleuteling toe voor gegevens onderweg en nemen passende technische en organisatorische maatregelen om verlies of misbruik te voorkomen.
09Uw rechten
U heeft het recht op inzage, rectificatie, verwijdering, beperking van de verwerking, overdraagbaarheid van uw gegevens en bezwaar. Waar de verwerking op toestemming berust, kunt u die op elk moment intrekken. Stuur uw verzoek naar info@quinkslag.cloud; wij reageren binnen de wettelijke termijn.
Bent u niet tevreden over hoe wij met uw gegevens omgaan, dan kunt u een klacht indienen bij de Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens.
10Cookies en opslag
Deze website plaatst op dit moment geen tracking- of marketingcookies. Wij gebruiken alleen functionele opslag in uw browser (localStorage):
- qs-theme — onthoudt of u de donkere of lichte modus verkiest.
- qs-lang — onthoudt of u de site in het Nederlands of Engels leest.
- qs-consent — onthoudt uw cookievoorkeur, zodat wij er niet telkens naar vragen.
Analytische en marketingcookies zijn nog niet actief. Introduceren wij die in de toekomst, dan plaatsen wij ze pas nadat u daarvoor toestemming heeft gegeven. U kunt uw keuze altijd aanpassen via cookievoorkeuren.
11Wijzigingen
Wij kunnen deze verklaring van tijd tot tijd aanpassen, bijvoorbeeld bij nieuwe functies of gewijzigde wetgeving. De datum bovenaan geeft de laatste wijziging aan.

01Who we are
Quinkslag is bookkeeping software for Dutch bookkeepers and the self-employed. For the personal data processed through this website and the application, Quinkslag is the data controller.
For any privacy question, reach us at info@quinkslag.cloud. Once Quinkslag is formally incorporated, we will add the full company details here.
02Data we process
Depending on how you use Quinkslag, we process:
- Account and contact data — name, email address and login details you provide when creating an administration.
- Bookkeeping data — the administration you enter or import yourself: postings, invoices, relations (creditors and debtors) and ledger entries. This may contain personal data of your own customers and suppliers.
- Bank data — bank transactions ingested via a PSD2 connection, only if you activate that connection yourself (see section 04).
- Technical data — IP address, browser type and log data needed for security, debugging and the correct functioning of the service.
- Preferences — your theme and language choice, stored locally in your browser (see section 10).
For bookkeeping data you process on behalf of your own clients, Quinkslag acts as a processor; you remain the controller. We enter into a data processing agreement for this.
03Purposes and legal bases
We process your data only for clear purposes, each on a legal basis under the GDPR:
- Providing the service — to run your administration and operate the application (performance of the contract).
- Legal obligations — such as the statutory tax retention period (legal obligation).
- Security and improvement — to prevent misuse and keep the software reliable (legitimate interest).
- Optional features — such as a bank connection or, in the future, analytics cookies (your consent).
04Bank data (PSD2)
A bank connection is optional. You activate it yourself and give explicit consent to your bank. The connection is used solely to read transactions for your bookkeeping; we do not initiate payments. You can withdraw the connection at any time, after which we no longer retrieve new transactions.
05Filings and the tax authority
When you file a return from Quinkslag (for example VAT or ICP via Digipoort), we process the data needed to submit it on your behalf. You decide when and what to file; we keep the confirmation in your archive.
06Retention periods
We do not keep data longer than necessary. Your administration is subject to the statutory seven-year tax retention period. We keep account and contact data for as long as you have an active administration and delete it within a reasonable period after termination, except where the law requires longer retention. On termination you can export your data.
07Sharing with third parties
We do not sell your data and we do not train models on your postings. We only share data with carefully selected sub-processors needed to deliver the service, such as our hosting provider and the bank-connection provider. We enter into a data processing agreement with each of them.
Your data is processed within the European Economic Area in principle. If a transfer outside the EEA is ever necessary, it takes place only with appropriate safeguards under the GDPR.
08Security
Your data resides on servers in Amsterdam, in an ISO 27001-certified data centre, with daily off-site backup. We encrypt data in transit and take appropriate technical and organisational measures to prevent loss or misuse.
09Your rights
You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection. Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw it at any time. Send your request to info@quinkslag.cloud; we respond within the statutory period.
If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, you may lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).
10Cookies and storage
This website currently places no tracking or marketing cookies. We only use functional storage in your browser (localStorage):
- qs-theme — remembers whether you prefer dark or light mode.
- qs-lang — remembers whether you read the site in Dutch or English.
- qs-consent — remembers your cookie preference, so we don't keep asking.
Analytics and marketing cookies are not active yet. If we introduce them in the future, we will only place them after you have given consent. You can change your choice at any time via cookie preferences.
11Changes
We may update this statement from time to time, for example when adding features or in response to changed legislation. The date at the top indicates the most recent change.
